Our family-run business in Altenmarkt is now lovingly managed in the second generation by Bernhard Schober with great heart and passion. Since 1970, we have been dedicated to making our guests feel right at home. Bernhard looks forward to welcoming you, both in summer and winter – he is always here to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
Now, Bernhard’s daughter Christina, her husband Julian, and their two children Fabio and Sophia are also happily involved. Together, we make sure that your most special days of the year become unforgettable memories.
Apartments Monika stands for a warm, family atmosphere, a love for nature, and personal connections with our guests. Bernhard’s mother, Monika, who founded the house in 1970, always knew the secret to turning guests into returning friends – warmth, thoughtful offerings, and the beauty of our surroundings. Many who have visited us before know our family well, and we would be delighted if you, too, become part of this tradition.
If we’re not at the reception, you’ll find us somewhere in or around the house – and in winter, maybe at the Napa Valley Restaurant. Either way, we’re always busy making sure you or our other guests are well taken care of.
