The location of our apartments couldn’t be better: centrally situated in Altenmarkt, you’re just a pedal push away from stunning routes. Enjoy the Ennsradweg, explore the Rossbrand in Radstadt, or head straight into the Stoneman Taurista. For those looking for an adrenaline rush, the bike trails of the Planai in Schladming are only a 20-minute drive away.

We have e-bikes for children and adults for you to rent directly at our Aparthotel. The price for an e-bike for our apartment guests is 30,- Euro per day. Six top modern e-bikes are available. You can reserve the e-bikes at our reception. An online reservation is unfortunately not possible.
Should the e-bikes become scarce at some point, we have good contacts with nearby sports retailers, where we will be happy to reserve more e-bikes or other bikes for you.
We also have some bike helmets available at the reception. We will be happy to pack you a lunch for your bike tour or e-bike tour in the mountains. Please inform yourself at our reception about all your possibilities.
There is also a bike cellar at the Apartments Monika, where you can safely park your own bike at any time. A small bike workshop with the most important tools is also available here free of charge for your biking vacation in Salzburg Land.
In June, September and October we offer you the opportunity to book our “e-bike break” package. This is possible from 5 days. An essential part of this offer are the e-bikes, which we make available to you for a whole day free of charge for stays of 5 nights or more. If you stay 10 nights or more, the e-bikes are free for you and all your companions for two whole days.
We are the right place for you if you are looking for a cycling vacation with your family. Apartments Monika is located at the entrance to countless cycling routes. Especially suitable for families is the Ennsradweg, with an unmistakable natural scenery and fantastic mountain panorama. It starts in Flachauwinkl and runs through the Schladming-Dachstein region National Park on a route of 240 to 280 kilometers.
Are you on the road with an e-bike during your biking vacation in Salzburg? Then we recommend a tour to the summit of the region’s most beautiful panoramic mountain in Radstadt, the Rossbrand. Or you can make your way to the Marbachalmen in Flachauwinkl, the zoo in Untertauern or the Reitlehenalm in Eben.
4,500 vertical meters, 360° Alps: The Stoneman Taurista is Roland Stauder’s exclusive mountain bike experience in Austria. And the best part: Apartments Monika are located about 200 meters from the entrance of the Stoneman Taurista route.
An eventful adventure for sports lovers and gifted mountain bikers, 4,500 meters of altitude have to be climbed around the Pongau region. It goes through the entire hiking area of Ennspongau. Take the challenge, it’s worth it for the captivating mountain scenery and gorgeous backdrop alone.
